PROPOSITION OF WORK

Taking a unique FX advantage and leveraging it for 2019

CHALLENGE

HSBC Australia was looking to take advantage and build momentum with their unique Foreign Exchange offering. 

They have a leading account, the Everyday Global Account that lets you hold up to 10 currencies in one place. They also had a first-mover advantage in the market by offering Real Time FX rates. Meaning their FX rates were refreshed every 3 to 5 seconds not once or twice a day like other banks.

Our goal was to create awareness, provide a better UX experience, User journey and ultimately drive FX transactions.

OUR APPROACH

Our first task was to redesign the UX of the Foreign Exchange section of the HSBC website. We looked at the user journey and ensured that it was easier to navigate, understand, and provide easy access to the real time exchange rates page. 

From there we created a multi touch-point campaign. We targeted existing customers and prospects via email and other digital assets. We also built the brand story in branch and online via social. 

We directed everyone to see live rates in action and see what they could potentially save with the comparative calculator.
